The First Family Network of Cameron County's mission is to advance community involvement to help improve the nature and quality of services provided to the children and families of Cameron County particularly to children in foster care. Our non-profit organization is supported through voluntary contributions, fundraisers and donations from other organizations that share our vision.

​Sneakers for Students
5k Run was held
September 6, 2014 at the Brownsville Event Center. All proceeds went to help the children of Cameron County with a voucher for a new pair of shoes. First Family Network donated $1000 for this cause. $500 of which will go to children in foster care.

Sneakers for Students
The First Family Network of Cameron County along with co-sponsors the Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation and Dr. Antonio Vasquez invite you to participate in a Halloween Book Bash.
Event is only for adults. There will be a Halloween Costume Contest the night of the bash. We are asking for new or used books as an entry fee to the bash.
Bash will be held at the Half Moon Saloon in Brownsville, Texas on October 24, 2014
The book donations will be for children in Child Protective Services Court in Cameron County.
Prior to event, we will be having a Halloween Art Drawing contest of a "Favorite Book Character". Age groups are 3-8, 9-12 and 13-18.
Only crayons, markers or colored pencils may be used. Paper size must be 8 1/2 by 11 inches.

Halloween Book Bash
Every year the First Family Network of Cameron County organizes the Annual Foster Care Christmas Party for all foster children from Cameron County. We are always looking for new ways to make the experience better. All types of donations are welcomed.
